What is Kapparot?
Kapparot is a custom observed in the days before Yom Kippur: we symbolically "transfer" what weighs on us onto something that then goes to tzedakah (charity), as part of preparing for forgiveness.
Traditionally it was done with a chicken. Today, much of the community does it by donating money instead: the symbolic meaning stays the same, and the donation also helps someone real — in this case, La Casa TLV.
You don't need to know Hebrew, come from a religious family, or have done this before. Any Jew, at any level, can do their Kapparot here, in just a few minutes.

Bnei adam yoshvei choshech vetzalmavet, asirei oni uvarzel.
Yotziem mechoshech vetzalmavet, umosroteihem yenatek.

Zeh chalifati, zeh temurati, zeh kaparati.
Zeh hakesef yelech litzdakah, va'ani elech lechayim tovim arukim ulshalom.
Translation
Before the declaration (Psalms 107 and Job 33)
There were those who dwelled in darkness and in the shadow of death, bound by affliction and iron.
He brought them out of that darkness and that shadow, and tore their bonds apart.
Fools were afflicted because of their rebellious path and their wrongdoing.
Their souls turned away from every kind of food, and they reached the very gates of death.
They cried out to God in their distress, and He delivered them from their troubles.
He sent forth His word and healed them, and saved them from the grave.
Let them thank God for His kindness, and for His wonders toward humankind.
If there is one angel among a thousand to speak for a person and tell of what is right in them,
then He is gracious and says: spare them from going down to the pit; I have found a ransom.
The declaration
This is my exchange, this is my substitute, this is my atonement.
This money will go to charity, and I will go on to a good, long and peaceful life.
Some people circle the money above their head three times while saying it. This is a single, generic version of the text, not split by gender or by number of people — any machzor or siddur has the others.
